Steve Poltz is a musical dynamo with impressive credentials. A former punk/folk pioneer (The Rugburns), Poltz co-wrote the longest running song in Billboard chart history (Jewel’s You Belong To Me), released one of Neil Young’s favorite CD (Answering Machine – a collection of over 50 songs recorded as outgoing messages), and is now the musical director and humorous sidekick of the web’s most popular cyber-tech site (The Hugh Thompson Show at http://techchannel.att.com/site/home/index.cfm). His solo debut, “One Left Shoe,” was given three and a half stars in Rolling Stone and his last album, Chinese Vacation, was just recently tapped by Jeep for their popular “Sandbox” commercial.
