The Sparrow Quartet is an all-star roots music collaboration headed by successful solo artist and Uncle Earl banjo player/singer Abigail Washburn. The lineup also features Bela Fleck, Casey Driessen and Ben Sollee. The quartet released their first disc, a self-titled five-song EP of re-translated folk, country, and roots standards in 2006 on Nettwerk Records. A full-length Sparrow Quartet release is expected this spring.
