Trouble in the Wind Biography

Beginning as a raw country/rock trio called Cactus Bob, Trouble in the Wind got their start playing at the "E Street Café" in Encinitas. Since then, Trouble in the Wind has developed and matured greatly by expanding their range and digging deep to enhance their musical craft. Although the group still carries its early Americana/country influences, Trouble in the Wind's sound currently spans a broad range of diverse genres. With the addition of latecomer Kyle Merritt on guitar, accordion, banjo and melodica, Trouble in the Wind blossomed into a multi-instrumental collective that spins rich, larger-than-life cinematic tales. By taking a multi-faceted approach to their instrumentation and exploring unique lyrical themes, Trouble in the Wind is capable of painting movie-like pictures on stage fueled by with drama and imagery.
