New Year's Eve Bash at the Belly Up! Reverend Horton Heat Biography
Belly Up brings you North County's hottest New Year's Eve party! The Reverend Horton Heat is perhaps the most popular psychobilly artist of all time, his recognition only rivaled only by the esteem generated by the genre's founders, the Cramps. The Reverend (as both the three-man band and its guitar-playing frontman JIm Heath) built a strong cult following during the '90s through constant touring, manic showmanship, and a twisted sense of humor.
Tijuana Panthers Biography
Long Beach's Tijuana Panthers play bounce-y punk that sounds a lot like what The Soft Pack are doing (they share a label with that band too; 1928 Recordings). If you know The Soft Pack, you know what you're in for with Tijuana Panthers. They've got some of that good jingle-jangle, mixed with some garage rock, and also a little bit of that rockabilly thing going on too.
