Unsigned | Unrest Compilation CD Release Party Biography
Unsigned | Unrest is a compilation album of amazing bands all in the act of charity. 100% of the profit's made from this album will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Broken Heart Records | Believe In Something (H.O.C) | and Burlington Art / Music Foundation have teamed up together to help make this idea and concept a reality. The idea started with Will Keenum founder of BA/MF on the fact that music can save your life, and can even help save another.
Compilation albums have always been a great utility to open your ears to something new and refreshing in the music industry, and have been watered down and forced into a dying breed in recent years. Our release from audio to visual presentation has been crafted to detail to make sure that it's pure art with all heart put into it, while making a positive impact on helping save lives for an amazing cause.
The Howls Biography
San Diego's The Howls have only been around for a few years, but their reputation already precedes them. It only takes one listen to the band's music to see why: The Howls' sound is reminiscent of those timeless early Wilco and Ryan Adams albums, with some boozy old-school Stones thrown in for good measure. It's alt-country bliss.
Kut U Up Biography
Kut U Up is an indie-rock band from San Diego, California. This four-piece came together in 1996 with the initial goal of making loud music for party goers, but over the last decade Kut U Up has taken the opportunity to refine its signature sound, adding melody, intricate guitar work, rotating vocals and pounding drums into the mix. For all the progress the band has made throughout their long journey together, Kut U Up has maintained the loose attitude and high volume rawness they are known for. With a plethora of new material currently in the works, Kut U Up's live shows are better than ever as classic Kut U Up songs shine alongside fresh tracks. Rock 'n roll will never die, and neither will Kut U Up.
