Following their 2009 smash hit "How You Like Me Now," The Heavy are currently touring in support of their third studio album The Glorious Dead.
The Heavy - SOLD OUT Biography
From their 2007 debut through their latest studio album The Glorious Dead (2012), the English neo soul/rock group The Heavy have established a reputation for creating music that celebrates their artistic influences and twists what came before into something new. The group's smash hit "How You Like Me Now" from their 2009 album The House That Dirt Built has been featured in countless movies, television shows and commercials; it was also performed on the Late Show with David Letterman when The Heavy made their first guest appearance on the show in 2010. Their new material on The Glorious Dead evidences a band at its most ambitious: sounding like a combination of a horror film soundtrack with a hint of garage rock and gospel/soul sensibilities, The Heavy's third album takes the momentum they gathered from "How You Like Me Now" and transforms it into a solid next step for an artful band fascinated with musical exploration.
