Rhythm and the Method is a West Coast-based band specializing in original music that is in a genre all its own. Together, RHYTHM AND THE METHOD skillfully blend sounds of indie rock, blues, folk and soul to create a unique, revolutionary sound. They have the ability to inspire audiences from all generations and walks of life. Whether it's a solo performance, duo, trio or the whole band, Rhythm and the Method can always stay in-tune to the specific needs of each venue and it's patrons.
Dez Ease Biography
My name is Dez and I am a musician of many genres..
I have been blowin' blues harp(harmonica) for about 16 years now and guitar for about 11. My roots are blues thanks to my Dad and Uncle David. When i entered high school i started dabbling in guitar playing and fell into a Metal/Virtuosic route. A few years later i entered the metal core/hardcore scene with bands such as The Sky Is A Wall and Moria(Now Helms Deep). Time past and i moved from my hometown in Monterey County to Riverside County where i experimented with Death Metal and Hip Hop. Once I felt my nomadic cravings yearning for a new, i then moved to San Diego. Now I play all of these genres on my spare time, writing and producing my own music.
Big Penny Biography
Big Penny is the culmination of years of combined and individual musical experience across genres assembled into a single cohesive unit. The two members, Sean Cox and Jordan Chini, meld original folk, dark country and rock into a harmony-rich audio experience that is as haunting as it is aesthetically complex. Banjo, guitar, harmonica, organ, drums, melodica, bass and mandolin are their tools and elbow grease is in no short supply.
