Plain White T's - Star 94.1 presents Biography

For over a decade, Plain White T’s have been playing to packed audiences craving that perfect pop-punk punch. Best known for their 2005 single “Hey There Delilah,” an acoustic song performed solely by singer Tom Higgenson that hit #1 in the US two years after its official release, Plain White T's have also released radio hits like "1,2,3,4" (2008) and "Rhythm of Love" (2010) and even granted permission for their 2006 song "Our Time Now" to be used in the ABC Family show Greek.

For a band whose journey started with playing covers in a small suburban basement in Chicago, the Plain White T's have undoubtedly made an impact on pop music. In addition to landing television spots and heating up the radio waves with angst-filled love songs, Plain White T's have also performed at Warped Tour three times, opened for bands like Jimmy Eat World and AFI that share their same stylistic vein, and have charted at #3 in the U.S. and UK with their 2006 record Every Second Counts. The band's latest EP Should've Gone to Bed was released in April 2013 and features four new songs, one of which (the title track) was used for the band's latest music video, released in June 2013.
