Palms Biography

Composed of three former members of the post-metal group ISIS (Aaron Harris, Clifford Meyer and Jeff Caxide) and former Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno, this new Los Angeles-based quartet is currently preparing for the release of their debut self-titled album on June 25. Palms came together after these musicians' former musical projects fell apart; once ISIS called it quits, Harris, Meyer, and Caxide reached out to Moreno, testing the waters to see if a new musical project would be possible so soon after ISIS. Once Moreno brought his extensive vocal range to the table, Palms had its beginning.

Crypts Biography

Crypts are a band with a penchant for mischief. The cover of their 2012 self-titled LP, which features synth and drum machine impresario Bryce Brown crawling on the roof of a car in the dead of night with a cigarette hanging from his mouth, is a perfect representation of the band’s impish spirit. Mirroring their music in a way that could be passed off as mere façade were their electronic orchestrations not so blinding and formidable, Crypts carefully manage their electronic sounds to marry one chaotic sound after the next, all without losing the balance of the overall compositions. Reminiscent of bands like My Bloody Valentine and Suicide, Crypts record and perform as representatives of the new wave of electronic musicians currently spreading throughout the U.S.

Sleep Lady Biography

Based in San Diego, Sleep Lady is a five-piece band that deals mostly in instrumentals. Their debut album Fighting for the Year was released in late 2010; two years later, Sleep Lady released their sophomore effort So Long Lonely Ghost. Dedicated to the long-form recording and performing style that they are gaining a reputation for, Sleep Lady deliver memorable performances that stress the importance of the experience that can be derived from each individual song.
