Little Hurricane Biography
As a weather pattern forms its shape and sound out of the unknown and invisible into something tangible and rare, so does the dirty blues force “little hurricane”. This storm began when CC hung up her chef knives for drumsticks and turned to Craigslist for collaborators. Tone, a songwriter and audiophile could see something different in her drumming and energy. Together they began their musical outlet crafting songs in CC’s living room that within months thousands would relate to and appreciate. Staying true to the living room vibe, the pair sets the stage with vintage furniture (complete with built-in speakers), microphones, instruments and lamps. You can almost feel the warmth from the tubes emanating from the ratty old suitcase guitar amps. Their equipment’s expanded in the many months since—CC even started singing alongside spare bursts of mandolin and harmonica—but the San Diego duo’s bruised sound is still rooted in restless rhythms and heated hooks on their self-released debut album, Homewrecker. That goes for everything from the seamless call-and-response choruses and windswept strings of “Give Em Hell” to the curlicue chords and doomsayer drums of “Crocodile Tears.” And then there’s “Haunted Heart,” a single that’s already landed on modern rock stations and Gossip Girl telling a story of love from beyond the grave.
Dead Feather Moon Biography
Dead Feather Moon is a San Diego-based outfit whose distinguished sound combines Rock with Alt-Country and Psychedelic Blues. Their heartfelt performances and rapidly-growing fan base have established them as one of San Diego’s most sought-after musical acts. The band entered White Horse Studios during February of 2011, where they recorded their debut full-length album over the course of eight days. These ten tracks constitute their record, "Dark Sun." Crafted with a sense of purpose and urgency, the album quickly generated enough buzz to garner the attention of San Diego’s 91X and FM94/9 radio stations - where the band receives consistent airplay. When the band is not touring, you can find them rehearsing four nights a week. They continue to write new material and fine-tune their live performances. Their steady stream of concerts in the greater San Diego area include headlining shows at renowned venues.
Bunny Gang Biography
BUNNY GANG is a new band from San Diego, featuring Adam Eidson (formerly of Of Sons and Ghosts) on drums, Dustin Lothspeich (of Old Tiger) on guitar, and Megan Liscomb (formerly of Owl Eyes) on vocals. Pooling their respective talents together has resulted in the formation of a group, the likes of which has never been seen or heard in San Diego before. Their debut single "Second Skin" was released on 5/1/2012. And while their songs are dark, edgy and viciously catchy on record - their live show takes everything to a whole different level with Liscomb charismatically taking center stage as naturally-born front woman. Their first album is due in late 2012.....along with world domination. Don't sleep.
