HeartBreaker Biography
HeartBreaker Tribute Band is San Diego's only Pat Benetar tribute band. With the musicianship between the female fronted foursome the sound is JLTR (just like the record). HeartBreaker focuses on Pat's rock songs from the 70s and 80s. They will hit you with their best shot and leave you all fired up. It's hard to believe but HeartBreaker is a little paradise on the stage.
Rocks Off Biography
“Rocks Off" is regarded by many San Diegans as the most raw and raucous Stones cover band to hit the local bars in decades. The group captures the swagger and reckless spirit of the Stones throughout the late 60s and mid-70s. If you're a fan of albums like Sticky Fingers, Exile On Main Street and Let It Bleed, this band will simply blow you away.Rocks Off specialties are hard licks, bluesy grooves and shout 'em out choruses. Mick Shagger leads the band with his fierce vocals, pompous attitude and hyper theatrics. Vocally, he's backed by Melly Frances, a Dutch import who doesn't speak a lick of English, but shakes a righteous tambourine and "sings like that bird does on Gimme Shelter." Ronnie Wu and Benny "Monkey Man" Krueger are Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood rolled into one. The two axe masters cover every sound made from Beggar's Banquet through Some Girls. If you're a guitar fan, these guys will rock you. The band's sound is rounded out by Matt "Sticky Fingers" Gross on bass and Charlie Carrillo on drums. The latter have been grooving in bands together for 15 years. The combined talents and chemistry of this sextet really shine on fan favorites like Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Bitch, Tumbling Dice and Live With Me.
