Switchfoot hosts the official Bro-Am After Party at the Belly Up in the wake of the 9th annual Switchfoot Bro-Am Surf Contest!
Bro-Am After Party hosted by Switchfoot Biography
The 9th Annual Switchfoot Bro-Am surf contest and concert returns to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas on July 13, 2013. The day-long event features a charity surf contest, a nerf surf jousting exposition between surf contest heats, the Rob Machado Bro Junior, and a live concert with Switchfoot on the beach. That evening, join us for the official Belly Up After-Party hosted by Switchfoot. An annual event near and dear to Switchfoot’s heart, the Bro-Am has raised over $715,000 for San Diego-based children’s charities since its inception in 2005. Inspired by the success of the Bro-Am, Switchfoot recently created the Switchfoot Bro-Am Foundation to continue their mission of supporting local at-risk, homeless and street kids throughout the year. Stop by the Belly Up on this special night to support San Diego's at-risk youth and have a heck of a good time doing so!
Fiction Family Biography
Formed in 2005 by Switchfoot founder Jon Foreman and Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek, Fiction Family released their self-titled debut album early in 2009 after years of collaborations. Though the duo released a holiday-themed EP last November, it was not until this January that they unveiled their sophomore record Fiction Family Reunion.
In support of the Bro-Am After Party hosted by Switchfoot, Fiction Family will perform at the Belly Up for this special night of surf and summer fun.
