Belly Up Beer Fest with Trouble in the Wind Biography

After getting their start as the raw country/rock trio Cactus Bob, Trouble in the Wind began playing at the E Street Café in Encinitas. In the years since, Trouble in the Wind have developed and matured greatly by expanding their range and digging deep to enhance their musical craft. Although the group still carries its early Americana/country influences, Trouble in the Wind's sound currently spans a broad range of diverse genres. With the addition of latecomer Kyle Merritt on guitar, accordion, banjo and melodica, Trouble in the Wind blossomed into a multi-instrumental collective that spins rich, larger-than-life cinematic tales. By taking a multi-faceted approach to their instrumentation and exploring unique lyrical themes, Trouble in the Wind is capable of painting movie-like pictures fueled by drama and imagery while performing onstage.

Ssubi is Hope Benefit Biography

Ssubi is Hope is dedicated to helping out men, women, and children in Uganda. Their quest is to help communities to develop and grow. To help children and parents to suffer less and to live longer. They believe that it is possible to empower both women and men by encouraging economically sustainable and creative endeavors. These ideas are not unique, but Ssubi recognized that there are areas of immediate need that often fall through the cracks. Ssubi embraced the role of supporting projects that are less likely to be funded by large international organizations. We can fill in the “gaps” that are left behind!
