Arnette 20 Year Anniversary Party Biography
Join Arnette, Bad Brains and the Creepy Creeps as they celebrate Arnette’s 20 years in the eyewear game. Arnette came to life in 1992 in an Orange County garage. With designs inspired by youth counter culture and contemporary fashion, Arnette sunglasses quickly became the de facto badge for a new generation. Twenty years later, Arnette shades and goggles are found on today’s most influential action sports athletes and lifestyle personalities.
Punk and hardcore were the driving soundtracks for many of the action sports videos that came out of 90s. Bad Brains, along with bands they inspired, built the audio landscape for videos that have driven countless individuals to push the boundaries of what's possible on boards and wheels.
Styles change, but icons never go out of fashion. Arnette and Bad Brains are coming to Belly Up on November 30th to throw down, have fun and get loud. You should join them.
Bad Brains - SOLD OUT!! Biography
Considered by some to be the "holy grail" of punk rock, Bad Brains have a pure and quintessential attitude that most artists only aspire to achieve. Sometimes reactionary but always volatile, Bad Brains are one of the definitive punk groups that garners the same respect as the Sex Pistols, Black Flag, The Clash and The Ramones. Known for their over-the-top live performances, the band melds punk and reggae into an innovative style that has yet to be copied.
The Creepy Creeps Biography
The Creepy Creeps know that when it comes to surf rock, it’s no longer enough to simply play a guitar: it’s all about how weird musicians can make their guitars sound while remaining inside the nebulous surf rock genre. Composed of musicians from bands including the Locust, Struggle, and Tarantula Hawk, the Creeps usually dress in mariachi clothes and paint pictures of skulls on their faces.
