World Anthem
Music lovers have a new sound to appreciate that combines skillful musicianship with strong, conscious songwriting. Years in the making, the World Anthem Band has arrived. The Orange County, California based band in currently in production of their next all-original CD, target date
set for release Summer 2010. The band recently released their 3rd live CD, titled “Live In Laguna.”
It is a pleasure for devote fans and newcomers alike to watch World Anthem perform live. Their distinctive musical sound is a culmination of their culturally diverse background giving World Anthem global appeal. The band was founded by Ronnie Alexander, Kevin Smith, Jelani Jones
and other World Anthem alumni have gone on to success with other Ventures such as Dean Butterworth (Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals/Morrisey/Good Charlotte) and Rodney Sheppard (Sugar Ray). The music World Anthem generates has been honed through consistent and tireless live shows all over Southern California. A blend of soul,
reggae and R&B, World Anthem delivers a very commercially viable sound. The band has developed a sizable following that is eagerly anticipating the self titled offering about to hit the street.
