The Rocksliders
The Rocksliders have performed many times at the Belly Up, sharing the bill with the likes of Chris Hillman’s Desert Rose Band, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Richie Furay and most recently Firefall, where tonight’s headliner Jack Tempchin joined the Rocksliders on stage.
In 2007, Rocksliders Kenny Newberry and Alex Watts were featured performers at the memorial for Gram’s Flying Burrito Brother band member, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, in Joshua Tree, CA.
Kenny and Alex will open “A Tribute to the Music of Gram Parsons” with a special in-the-round set with singer/songwriter friends, Eve Selis & Marc Twang, Rick Shea and Mark Nemetz. Each will sing Gram Parsons tunes along with a few of their own.
