The Painkillerz
The Painkillerz is a Southern California based country rock band headed up by veteran musician and singer/songwriter Frank Battisti and top slide guitarist and lap steel player Brian Rogers. The band blends a gritty southern rock and blues guitar sound with catchy and memorable vocal melodies that, according to fans, leaves a long-lasting impression. Perhaps that’s why they have developed a strong fan base through their live performances. The band has just released their debut CD which features popular Painkillerz original songs such as “Thousand Miles from Nashville” and “Miles Away”.New touring dates for the band are just starting to be booked and the band will be hosting a series of CD release parties in the Southern California area beginning with The Coach House on May 29th.
The Painkillerz are in negotiation to sign with top management company, Seany Records. Music from the debut CD has already been picked up commercially for an advertising campaign through Flashpont Advertising. Each member of the band brings a diverse background and set of influences to the music. Frank’s influences span from Aerosmith to Bob Marley, and everything in between. Brian’s playing has been heavily influenced by slide masters like Duane Allman and Derek Trucks as well as top steel player Cindy Cashdollar and rock/blues guitarist Warren Haynes.
