Still ill
Still Ill is an energetic group of musicians wanting to share their love of the Smiths and Morrissey with all fans. Virgil (Voz), a hardcore San Diegan, grew impatient waiting for Morrissey to come to perform for “America’s Finest City.” After a few cancellations from Mozzer and watching shows in L.A., home to many fine Smiths and Morrissey tribute bands (nod), Voz ultimately decided to form a tribute band for San Diego. For fans by fans. Thus, Still Ill was born with the vast talents of Jerry (lead), Edze (bass), Norm (rhythm) and Phil (drums). Why deprive a great city of one of the greatest bands and singers of all time?
