Stick Figure

Stick Figure possesses a unique style of music that combines a creative blend of upbeat roots reggae with the reverberating echoes of dub. Stick Figure’s music is written, produced, and recorded by lead singer, Scott Woodruff. At an early age, Scott became fascinated with the art of music and began playing the drums. Eventually, his passion for music grew and he acquired the skills to play the guitar, bass, keyboards, sing and produce all his own music. All of Stick Figure’s songs are made by recording each instrument separately, layering several tracks on top of one another in unison.
What was at one time a one-man operation, Stick Figure has now developed into a full four-piece band that conveys the same unique sound. After relocating to Southern California this past year, Stick Figure added three new members for the live band, Brendan Dane (bass), Todd Smith (drums), and Kevin Bong (keys). Together, the band is breaking new grounds in the scene.
Stick Figure’s 3rd album, “Smoke Stack” debuted at #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts and was a top ten album on the Reggae Billboards for two weeks strait. The albums was also awarded top ten best reggae albums of 2009 by Apple iTunes.
