Moontucky Risin
Moontucky Risin (established in 2003) is a groove rock/jam band based in San Diego, California. The band is comprised of 6 pieces – 2 guitars, keys, bass, percussion and drums.
The band continually strives towards creating a musical journey for the audience – with thought-provoking lyrics, organic grooves, and dynamical climaxes around every turn. The music and lyrics are highly original spanning across multiple genres – from classic rock riffs to intricate psychedelic jams; blues to fusion; reggae and beyond. The band’s sets can range in lengths of 30 minutes to 3+ hours.
