Monique Unleashed

Monique began her comedy career in Miami, and soon starting touring the country and eventually the world. Her talent did not go unnoticed. She hosted her own television show for Barry Diller’s WAMI, ushered in the new millennium by hosting ABC’s “Rockin’ New Year’s Eve 2000” live from South Beach, graced the stage of “The Montel Williams Show”, and was a relationship expert on HBO’s “Real Sex”.
Monique is now a multi-media artist. She hosts her own morning drive time radio show for San Diego’s 100.7 Jack FM and stands alone as the only person in the country to host a Jack FM morning show. As host of the “Monique & The Man” morning show, she has emerged as one of San Diego’s brightest and most provocative talents. Monique Marvez is the unvarnished, unfiltered, and un-radio Latina comedian, along with co-host Greg Simms (a.k.a.—The Man) and sidekick Sara Perry. “Monique & The Man” joined the San Diego airwaves in January 2006 as a comedy-based alternative to the moribund morning shows that dominate America’s Finest City. The show is growing steadily in San Diego, as is Monique’s career outside of the studio walls. She was featured on Showtime’s Latin Divas of Comedy special in 2007, has performed a number of sold-out stand up gigs in San Diego and hopes to finish her first book, “Not Skinny, Not Blond” by the end of 2008.
