Los Chicharrones Guapos
Los Chicharrones Guapos (LCG) is a band that likes to have a good time. Their sound doesn’t really fit into one category— they do some funk, pop rock stuff. Imagine James Brown swirled together with the B-52’s. Funny, silly stage antics backed by solid grooving rhythm is a good description of the LCG experience. The band plays originals and covers and the reason it works is the band has a good time playing! They want to have fun and they get their audience to come along for the ride.
The latest incarnation of LCG features new members in the line-up. Jeff Berend (guitar), Janet Berend (drums) and Russ Shutz (bass) continue to make up the LCG rhythm section, while Pablo Martin has joined the band as new front man, MC and entertainer and new female singer Gigi Vilicich joins longtime LCG singer Tracy Yates on vocals. The band has added new material to an already solid set of music and with the addition of new band members; the LCG Good Time Express is still rolling down the tracks.
