Gerry Beckley of America
One of the three founding members of America, Gerry Beckley has remained active in the band since its inception. The period of greatest commercial success for America dissipated after the departure of Dan Peek in 1977, but a bit of a comeback was achieved in 1982 when the two remaining members collaborated with Barnes and Barnes’ Bill Mumy.
