FOOu

The idea of FOO U REVOLUTION was tested back in 2005 a garage in sunny Del Mar California between Phil Tish and Don Vercelli. Formed from the ashes of stoner rock icons FooChelli, Foo U reunited the group’s singer/guitarist Don Vercelli and singer/guitarist Phil Tish. The project’s origins date back to Vercelli & Tish who were jamming in a Las Vegas hotel room and saw a revolution happening. After Drumming for another band, Vercelli sought out the lead guitar/singing sensation Tish. He and Tish soon began working with a revolving lineup of Drummers, Bass players and Percussionist until they found what they needed. Lightfoot, Crane and Ogie added a key tone to the overall sound of the band. Crane left the band in early 2009 due to finding Buddha on his arm and in his heart!!!. Vercelli and Tish played musical chairs behind the kit and even hired a good friend of the band Ken Najbert on guitar until they could fill the drumming position. After multiple months of auditions for a new Drummer, FOO U found hard hitting Greg “G Money” Grmolyes to fill the spot. Today FOO U consist of Vercelli, Tish, Lightfoot, Ogie, Najbert, Grmolyes and considered one of the most exciting and explosive rock bands in America.
