David Lally

David Lally was born in Co. Galway, Ireland. He formed a rock band with 4 friends in the early nineties, and they recorded a demo, which was featured on radio.
After leaving high school, Lally attended a Music College, before going on to receive credentials in Journalism. Over the next 6 years, he traveled across America, the UK, mainland Europe and India.
Lally moved to the US in 1995.
In 1999 Lally met fellow Galway man, Ned Giblin, in Carlsbad, California. Their band, Brehon Law, has played hundreds of gigs, including American television and radio appearances, and has been flown to venues in both the US and Ireland. Brehon Law – Live at Tom Giblin’s was recorded in 2001.
Lally also works as a writer, and has hosted a morning show on an alternative San Diego radio station. He spent 6 months in Mexico on the set of Master and Commander
