Bayonics

Bayonics’ unique blend of hip hop, salsa, funk, soul and reggae reflects the cultural diversity of the band and of the Bay Area. In 2007 Bayonics was honored with the SF Weekly Music Award for Best International Sound. The San Francisco Chronicle praised, “Bayonics’ multifaceted sound could be seen as the hip-hop generation’s answer to the Latin fusion of the ’70s.” Bayonics were well-received in Miami during their two prior visits, the Miami Herald saying, “Judging by Bayonics’ sound, you’d think they were local boys, or maybe an experimental act from some island somewhere.”
